The emotional scarring leaves Layla different and Leeds struggles to accept this new version of the woman he fell in love with. He brings her back to the bed and breakfast where they met and hopes it will bring them closer again. However, Layla’s strange behaviors get worse. Leeds then meets Willow at the bed and breakfast and takes comfort in sharing his concerns over Layla. The two grow closer and Leeds wants to help Willow, but realizes he can only help one of them, and if he chooses the wrong person everyone could be at risk.
